I still get told I’m too old on a daily basis. Whether it’s in the comment section on YouTube or Instagram or my empty inbox on tumblr - it happens way more than you think. I’ll leave a post someone disagrees with and suddenly “your an old creepy guy what are you even doing commenting” pops up. It just amazes me how ageist some people can be knowing that everyone gets older. It’s almost comical because I’m not sitting here thinking about how old I am, yet others are consumed with it. When I was younger I never presumed to tell anyone older than me that they were less than, but somehow this is now the culture we live in. How sad that you’re only considered to be relevant during the ages of 13-22 when you know the least and act the worst. Anyone over 22 is an “old creepy person” who is undermined and devalued. All I can say is, I hope you never get older sis, just wait - eventually your ageist poison will get turned back on you.
